How long does it take to set up the Horizon Roof Tent?
The Horizon can be fully set up in under 60 seconds thanks to its gas-assisted strut system—no poles, no hassle.
What is the difference between the Horizon and the Discovery roof tent?
Made from the same high-quality materials (powder-coated aluminium, blackout interior, 320gsm ripstop polyester, etc). The Horizon is a low-profile hard-shell with a single-action opening method. Whereas, the Discovery is more of a hybrid - utilising a dual-folding mechanism which creates more internal space but with a square profile when closed.
What vehicles is the Horizon Roof Tent compatible with?
It fits most vehicles with roof bars or a roof rack system capable of supporting dynamic and static loads. We recommend checking your vehicle's roof load rating before installation. The roof tent has a rectangular, low profile when closed - utilising 4 strong clamps to lock in place.
Can I sleep in it with another person?
Absolutely. The spacious sleeping platform comfortably fits two adults with room to stretch out. It is also possible to include a small child or dog!
Is the Horizon suitable for year-round camping?
Yes! With triple-layer weather sealing, blackout insulation, and robust construction, the Horizon is built to handle all seasons—including wind, rain, and snow. Paired with the HotBox, no time of year is too cold, further extending the camping seaosn and maximising your investment.
How do I maintain and clean the Horizon Roof Tent?
Regularly brush off debris, keep the seals clean, and use mild soapy water to wipe down the shell and fabric. Always ensure the tent is fully dry before storing.
