Compatibility

To fit a SKEP 117 to your vehicle, please follow these instructions :

1. Towball: your vehicle must be fitted with a standard, compatible towball.
2. Minimum clearance: a minimum clearance of 4 cm is required between the lower end of the tailgate or double doors and your towball to install the SKEP 117.
3. Maximum load: the permissible vertical load (or "S" load) must be compatible with the combined weight of the SKEP 117, the bike carrier and the bicycles being transported. The "S" load of the hitch (indicated on a plate riveted to the hitch) must be taken into account to ensure that this limit is not exceeded.
4. Bike carrier weight: approx. 15 kg for a towball-mounted bike carrier, to be added to the weight of the bikes and the SKEP 117 in the calculation.
